    Description

    2 handmade Bassoon reeds for
    Classical bassoon
    (Grenser, Savary etc.)
following the method provided in the
"Vollständige theoretisch-pracktische Musikschule" by Franz Joseph Fröhlich (1811) and the
"Nouvelle méthode de basson" by Étienne Ozi (1803).
    What does that mean?
The reeds are scraped from inside, what makes the texture of the cane harder and more brilliant until the very tip. The blade length without bark is only 22mm what makes the reed's structure more stable. These two factors allow you having a more powerful sound with good intonation and a wider dynamic range from the lowest up to the higher registers.
    Width of the tip: 16.9mm
All reeds are tried before dispatch and ready to play. Natural changes due to weather, air pressure humidity can appear.
    The reeds cannot be returned.
