Whisker Woods Ashlyn Girl and Socks Monkey Goodreau Dolls American BJD, 5" Resin
This darling little 5" set gives you two dolls for the price of one! You get Socks the Monkey from Whisker Woods, plus Ashlyn, a little girl, in a set (one body; two heads and two outfits) from a special IDEX event in 2009. The head is easily changeable (the head cap is held on by magnets; giving you an easy access to changing the head).  Socks/Ashlyn is produced in classic resin. A light brown "furry" jumper, with a monkey tail, and matching boots make up Sock's outfit, and Ashlyn's outfit consists of a sweet red and yellow and light blue little girl dress, plus white tights and matching red mary jane shoes. Both heads have face-ups and eyes; Ashlyn comes with a short wig of brown hair. The resin body is adorable, with jointing at the neck shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees and ankles. The stringing is good and the yellowing on this doll is minimal (it appears more yellow in the photos than it looks in real life).
From Goodreau dolls, come the Critters of Whisker Woods. All the Ball Jointed Critters come in a little "fur" outfit. Additinal outfits are sold separately (I will have some up on eBay shortly). American Ball Jointed Critters of Whisker Woods come in two sizes, 5” and 8” (this is the 5" size). They are made of high quality resin, have 13 or 14 points of articulation and are fully strung. Each critter comes with random eyes, have a removable head cap for access to change eyes, have painted faces and realistic eyelashes. They can wear American BJD clothing or Snappy clothing.
Released in 2009, Socks/Ashlyn was produced in a very limited edition (I am not sure of the number, but it was created for a small IDEX event (and I'd say definitely less than 150 pieces) and is rare and hard to find. Socks/Ashlyn  is a part of the American BJD collection by Goodreau Doll LLC.
Condition
Socks/Ashlyn, a  Resin Ball Joint critter by Goodreau Doll LLC, comes to you mint in the original box with all original packaging and is totally mint. I have not played with this doll; I dressed her in one of the outfits for this listing. There has been minor natural yellowing of the resin; the doll is less yellow to the eyes than in the images. Please note that I had one of the ball joints turned around a bit for the images I took; the knee is fine and looks just like the other one when I turned it.  All images are of the exact item you will receive.  This item is from my personal collection.
