Vintage World War 2 (WWII) German ‘HITLER YOUTH’ CANTEEN* As Pictured With Decent Exterior Felt Cover (missing two exterior snaps) With Worn/Aged Leather Strap, Aluminum Twist Top Cover/Lid Incised “FSS337” With Use/Age Wear and Aluminum Backpack Hook, Incised “Ritter Aluminium, D.R.G.M.” (‘Deutsches Reich Gebrauchsmuster’, which means, ‘German Reich Registered Design’…a limited patent used for German designs). This Canteen is Missing the drinking cup.
These canteens were issued/carried by paramilitary Hitler Youth groups in Germany before and during the WWII era.
This canteen was acquired by me many years ago with a few other WWII collectibles (see other listing/s). This canteen is approximately eighty (80) plus years old and had been used, therefore the condition will reflect this ‘field’ use.
