, marked with a patent date of December 11, 1923. This large water bottle was made by
Stanley
Insulating
Co.
and holds an impressive 40 fluid ounces of liquid. The metal cap screws on and is secured to the neck by a chain.
"It will not break"
The approximate measurements are shown in the photos. 8" in diameter x 9 1/2" tall.  The opening is 1" in diameter.  The base is 4 1/4" x 1 1/2".
The canteen does have some wear, a few small dents and nicks. Please see the photos for details.
