USSR Russian Airborn Forces - VDV blue beret paratrooper’s authentic 3pcs canteen mess kit with a canvas cover bag.
A light and compact cooking kit for a Soviet paratrooper. Made of aluminium, from 1980-90s.
Brand new, unissued from the soviet military surplus warehouse.
The kit consists of a canteen ("Flyaga" in Russian), pot, and a cup. All three pieces are held together by a locking handle.
The set goes along with a canvas bag.
The canteen goes with a cap on a chain. The pot and cup go with a handle.
The total weight of the set with a cover bag is 640g (1.4 pounds).
The kit is covered with solid oil (for a better storage in a military warehouse conditions) which needs to be removed before usage.
There’s a stamp on the handle with Russian “KB” letters, meaning Leningrad Factory “Krasniy Vyborzhets”
A great set for cooking and eating outdoors. Good for soldiers, scouts, campers, hunters.
