This is a sterling silver jade and mother of pearl necklace. The necklace is about 18 3/4"" long . The pendant is about from the top of the bale 2 11/16" x 1 1/8". The necklace has a toggle closure.
MOTHER OF PEARL
Mother of pearl is produced by molluscs, mussels, oysters and abalone by producing a secretion called nacre which lines its inner shell. It is iridescent and strong. It is used in ornaments and jewelry.
