This is a sterling silver mother of pearl, garnet andperidot pendant . The pendant is approximately from the top of the bale 3" x 1 1/16".
Mother of pearl is producted by molluscs, mussels, oysters and abalone by producing a secretion called nacre which lines its inner shell. It is iridescent and strong. It is used in ornaments and jewelry.

Avoid harsh chemicals , perfumes and certain soaps which can damage the mother of pearl. Remove when doing housework and cooking. Clean with a soft or jewelry cloth. Store separately from other jewelry in a soft cotton bag out of direct sunlight.
