Russian Soviet Army VDV Airborne Canteen Water Flask Mess Kit Pot Kettle.
Genuine Soviet military surplus. Special Russian airborne (vdv) water flask and aluminum mess pot with cover. Made in about 1972.Сap with a rubber gasket with chain. Bowler is used for cooking over a campfire. Bowler is equipped with a wire-loop handle for hanging and carrying. Made from food-grade aluminum. Capasity of 800ml. Cover of the pot with handle can be used as a plate (bowl) or pan.It has an aluminum handle - latch. During transportation it locks the entire set. These were used by Soviet troops in Afghanistan War. Can be also used for distilling water (see the picture). All elements are made of light aluminum according to army specifications.
