Description

By way of introduction, GreenSage, LLC, is a Florida based, research and development company that is primarily dedicated to designing very high quality tactical flashlights and laser gun sights. The 2000 XD Flashlight is one of several GreenSage products now being produced in quantity.
The key point to keep in mind is that the 2000 XD Flashlight can temporarily blind and disorient an attacking bear or any other type of assailant.  It can also prevent an opponent from retrieving and aiming a weapon.  The whole point of this flashlight design is to send its user safely home.  Be advised that GreenSage, LLC, has exclusive worldwide rights to sell the 2000 XD Flashlight.
Main attributes:
1.    The 2000 XD Flashlight is designed to be rifle or shotgun mounted.   It also can be used in off-weapon applications such as search and rescue, signaling, tracking, camping or in self-defense. It is not an "everyday" flashlight and should not be used as such.  Power settings are fixed at 2,000 lumens, 1,050 lumens and 350 lumens. A disorienting strobe function alternates from 20 to 800 lumens. The fifth flashlight function is an SOS signal set at 1400 lumens. All five functions can be used with red, green and blue lens filters which are included with the 2000 XD Flashlight. At 2,000 lumens, a red, blue or green signal is quite likely to be noticed by a fixed wing aircraft or helicopter crew.  Also, a red lens is useful for adaptive vision preservation in darkness. A blue lens is useful at crime scenes to help find blood stains. A green lens is helpful in map reading and for tracking suspects across crushed vegetation.
2.    The 2000 XD Flashlight can be mounted on rifle or shotgun barrels, feeding tubes or on long gun receivers. Not one but two very strong CNC machined mounts (not commonly seen weak castings) are employed for flashlight attachment to a Picatinny rail which is first installed on a rifle or shotgun. In the case of a rifle or shotgun receiver mounting position, the GreenSage mounts will offset the flashlight to the left of the receiver while cartridge case ejection is to the right. An unusually long remote pressure switch (420 mm, when not expanded) functions in temporary or permanent "on/off" positions. This particular pressure switch length allows for flashlight use on many different models of rifles and shotguns. The space between the flashlight mounts will allow concurrent mounting of a scope, reflex sight, laser gun sight or some other long gun addition.
3.    At a length of only nine inches and a total weight (with batteries and both mounts installed) of 25 ounces (.708 kg), this rechargeable and water resistant flashlight does not represent a significant burden when considering the possible consequences that are inherent in any kind of confrontation.  More specifically, it is preferable to separate friend from foe at a distance that puts the flashlight user out of harm's way.  It is also preferable not to make a shooting error due to a wrong identification that is likely to be caused by using a marginally powered flashlight.  In brief, such an error could have a very negative court impact on a person's life and assets.

Warranty Terms and Conditions.
The manufacturer warrants all 2000 XD Flashlights (sometimes hereafter referred to as the "Flashlight" or "Flashlights") and related components sold with the flashlight, in the course of normal use, against defects in materials or workmanship, for one (1) year from the flashlight purchase date upon proof of purchase.  The manufacturer will replace or refund any defective flashlight or flashlight component (original purchaser only) with a new unit at no charge should a GreenSage officer determine that the flashlight or a flashlight component to be defective.  In addition, the manufacturer will pay all outbound domestic standard shipping costs related to such replacement.  This limited warranty excludes any and all rechargeable batteries, battery chargers or flashlight battery damage.  This limited warranty does not cover any flashlight or flashlight component which has been previously altered, engraved, repaired or serviced by anyone other than the manufacturer.  This limited warranty does not cover deterioration due to normal use, cosmetic damage, accident, misuse, abuse, negligence, subjection to abnormal conditions (including, but not limited to, sun and water damage), or modification of, or to, any part of the flashlight or flashlight component.  Removal of a flashlight serial number or warning label, if any, will void this warranty.  This is the only warranty, expressed or implied, and excludes any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.  Incidental, consequential or special damages are expressly disclaimed by the Flashlight Buyer or user as of the date of Flashlight purchase.
