Fox Renard Model 41 Student Polypropylene Bassoon SN 5177 VERY NICE

This is a VERY NICE Fox Model 41 bassoon.
Fox is the best American maker of bassoons and oboes, and this is an excellent example of a terrific model 41, which in my opinion is the best student bassoon on the market. The model 41 is a fantastic polypropylene bassoon. It will never crack like a wood bassoon, and intonation is spot on, owing to the lack of variance in the material. Fox's manufacturing is excellent. Intonation is very good, action is terrific, and these bassoons sound good enough to play in almost any setting. This particular one is in very good condition. There are no cracks, repaired or otherwise. There is some wear on the keys (see photos) but the instrument looks very good. Pads feel very good and this bassoon plays well as is.
