    Description

    This is a very nice Fox Renard Model 222 semi-professional bassoon.
    Fox is the best American maker of bassoons and oboes, and in my opinion, the ONLY bassoon that an intermediate player should consider buying. Fox's manufacturing is excellent. Intonation is very good, action feels good, and these bassoons sound good enough to play in a youth civic or college orchestra. This particular instrument is in beautiful condition. There are no cracks, repaired or otherwise. There are a few minor blemishes here and there and some spotting on the keys but nothing too significant. Pads and action have just been through the shop and this instrument plays very well as is.
