This is an instrument I bought several years ago, and had overhauled. The serial number is 5013 as best I can make out. It was stamped in the boot joint below the G pad, but water damage over the years has obscured the number. For some reason there are no other serial numbers stamped on the other joints, but the people who had it before me sent pictures of it to the Puchner shop and they confirmed that it was an authentic Puchner instrument. It had not been played for a long time, and still is somewhat resistant. I've been playing it and it has opened up. I'm selling it with a CVX Fox 1, a Leitzinger 1, and the original bocal it had when I bought it, a Puchner CD3. This instrument is better in tune with 1 bocals. There was a repair job on the top of the long joint and it's in good shape. I added the Contra Bassoon hand support, which is the way I like to play, but I will include the standard hand crutch. The whisper lock is the best type I've found over my years of playing...simple and easy to use, so I added that during the overhaul. My advice is to find a good Heckel CDV1 bocal...that's the one it plays best with, but I can't let the one I have go.
