10 pieces Bassoon cane – carefully gouged and profiled in Germany on Rieger™-machines
Material:
The cane was harvested in 2006, delivered by Mr. Ovidio Danzi and then stored with perfect conditions for 12 years.
Many bassoonists look especially for this old cane because of it's special quality.
Measures:
The measures are the result of years of research and comparison.
Total length: 118 mm (4.65″)
Gouged thickness: 1.35 mm (0.053″)
Blade: 0.95 mm (0,037″) [collar] - 0.45 mm [tip] (0,018″)
(These measures are very similar to those, the profiled cane by Mr. Danzi had in the 2k-years.)
