The Design of the Swiss Army Mess Kit aka "Gamelle", officially named "Einzelkochgeschirr Ordonnanz 1898",
was approved 02.07.1898 by the Swiss War Department and has slightly changed since then. In 1989 a additional pan, made out of aluminum, was issued to the troops. You get one additional pan, my choice, manufacturer stamped ethier by B+T (Brügger + Thomet) or ST N. Manufacturing year may vary from 1990 - 1998. Each pan is in slightly used condition and may have some scratches or dents. The mess kit lid is not included within this listing.
