This is a rough citrine necklace & earring set with a rough citrine pendant. The necklace is approximately 21" long. The pendant is about from the top of the bale 1 5/8" x 1 ". The earrings are for pierced ears . The earrings are about from the top of the hooks 2 5/16" x 3/4". The findings are gold plated except the toggle which is sterling silver vermeil.
Citrine is a mineral quartz. It ranges in color from yellow to orange, orange brown and reddish brown. It has a hardness of 7 on the Mohrs scale. It is mainly found in Brazil, but is also found in Madagascar, South Africa, USA, and Russia.. It is the birthstone of November. It is the stone of the 13th year anniversary.
Care
Clean with plain soap and water and a soft brush. Take care to prevent scratches and blows. Keep away from prolonged heat and sun exposure. Don't wear while sunbed tanning or sun tanning.
