This 22 gauge solid brass reed wire ,manufactured by the Malin Wire Company here in Cleveland Ohio (est. 1884) is the same wire that was used by the bassoon section of the Cleveland Orchestra for many decades under George Szell.  (I know this because I studied with the late Stan Merritt, who was the contra bassoonist with the Cleveland Orchestra for over 40 years).
This wire comes in one 4 oz spool, and will make approximately 200 reeds.
