Here is a turn of the century antique tiled Belgian cook stove. It was designed to burn either wood or coal. This beautiful piece is adorned with 3 sides and a backsplash of hand painted Belgian tiles, in an Art Deco design. The front has 2 oven doors, a vent door, an ignition door, and 3 storage drawers. Five of the doors/drawers have white porcelain handles, and the other 2 have metal handles. On the top is the beautiful backsplash, which features metal filigree sides that are adorned with winged griffons, and lovely metalwork on the top center. This is a not often seen addition. The backsplash is also adorned with hand painted Belgian tiles. The cooking surface has a center fuel holder topped with 4 rings of cast metal. The cooking surface was cracked in 2 places, but has been nicely repaired (visible in the pictures). Also, there are 2 cracked tiles on the right side, which are also shown in the pictures. This stove is no longer functional as a cooking implement, but will make a gorgeous addition to your home. 43" wide, 25" deep and 50" tall to the center of the backsplash. Free pickup available.
