Here is a vintage bassoon. It has no mouthpiece or reed. I do not have the case. This bassoon has no makers marks or numbers of any kind that I could find. Most of the keys seem to work. The corks between the pieces need to be replaced as the pieces fit very loosely. This instrument is made with beautiful tiger maple wood. I am guessing this is a French bassoon, but I am not sure. Also, it looks a lot like some of the Buffet Crampons I have seen. Please check out all the pictures and zoom in for details. This is a used instrument and I have not tried to play it. There are some scratches and worn spots and some of the springs for the keys do not seem to work properly. You could use this for parts or restore it. Someone who knows bassoons probably knows who made this and the age.
