    Description

    A nice example of this early chart of Bodega Bay, in Sonoma County California. Rich in bathymetric data, information on tides, variations, and more. Bodega Bay was the site of some of the first Russian-built structures in California, and the bay was connected to Fort Ross. It is also noteworthy that this chart was made in the early years after California's statehood and during the U.S. Civil War.
